Belfast School of Millinery has finally launched, with couture milliner Gráinne Maher at the helm, she will be introducing a range of classes over the coming weeks and months, catering for varying ranges of millinery experience and ability.
Gráinne has been offering an Introduction to Millinery basics class for several years now, and demand is proving so popular that it’s time to add intermediate and advanced skills to those that have caught the millinery bug! As a wee thankyou to those of you who have already taken a class with Gráinne, a discount will be made on any future classes booked…
Perhaps you want to take millinery up as purely a hobby, perhaps you aspire to make your own headpiece to wear to a special occasion or race day…? Or maybe you want to hone your skills and turn it into a way of making an extra income!?
Gráinne will take each student step by step through each new skill set, encouraging an independence in terms of design aesthetic, and encouraging you to explore your inner creativity.
We plan to have guest millinery tutors from across the globe in the future to offer a thoroughly fascinating variety of millinery techniques and teachers to inspire you! Watch this space….!!
